Description:
Deciduous trees. Pinnate compound leaves alternate; Leaf rachis hairy, base inflated; Leaflets 9-15, ovate-oblong, apex pointed, base broadly cuneate, below grayish white, sparsely pubescent. Panicle terminal; Calyx campanulate, 5-denticulate; Corolla milky white, flag broadly heart-shaped, short claw, with purple veins, wing and keel petals slightly purple margin; Stamens 10, separated, unequal. Pod fleshy, beaded, glabrous, indehiscent. Seeds 1-6, renal. Flowering July ~ September, fruiting September ~ October.
